1. She have some fact to her multicultural observations.
I grew up in a very multicultural area. But the leadership of the day -1940/50's was that you are now a Canadian and you are treated well. You left your homelands for a better place. This is it! Respect it -or go home. We all got on so well. Everyone respected others and were willing to learn and tolerate -and no one pushed their life-style. Certainly not like now. And it was not tolerated if done so. Mature government by mature politicians/officials. Respected and admired. Those were the days!!
2. I have to say she is wrong on that. When multiculturalism results in the absorption of new comers into Canadian society where they accept prevailing Canadian values like equality, freedom(with some reasonable prohibitions on promoting hatred). it is when new comer groups bring things like forced female circumcision, clothing that entirely covers the person face and body etc that we get into trouble. Canadians do not go to Muslim countries and disregard their traditions.
3. Open mouth insert foot. Remove foot, apologize, smile. Repeat as often as you can until your voters know for sure what they've got.
4. Multiculturalism is not new to Canada as evidenced by the Quebec Act of 1774. All that got us was the Quebec of where the Parti Quebecois thinks the only culture to be allowed is their definition of Quebec culture. Biggest mistake the British ever made.
5. Lady premier you offend someone every time you open your mouth & say something. Personally if you gave all the rest of Canada a chance to vote in your referendum you'd have your own country, just don't try and get back in you're " Persons non gratis"..
6. It's the Quebec extremists, like this crazy Marois, that give the rest of Quebec a bad name ! Send her and her other separatist buddies off to one of the small islands in the St. Lawrence and make that their country. They can then set up their own government, and run their economy the way she wants and Canada should wish them all the best as we cut off the financial gravy train !

8. This is a butt ugly separatist racist that looks like she has a mouthful of splooge and doesn't know whether to spit or swallow, something her mother should have done.
9. Quebec is the only place in the world who lost the war but have more rights than the victors. Quebec is a prime example of when you try to be nice to some one ,they take advantage of you. It's supposed to be "To the victor goes the spoils." Not the loser.
10. As much as I have NO use for her, she might have something there. Multiculturism is costing us our way of life , whether the bleeding hearts agree or not, and it's only going to get worse. We ARE losing our identity, and it;s because these migrants are demanding that WE blend in with THEM and our "government" is going along with it. Again, I have NO use for marois , but multiculturism IS going to ruin this country just as it is ruining so many european countries.
11. "It's up to Quebec to develop its own model, according to its own values and history" Wrong. England is a sovereign country, Quebec is not, nor should it ever be. I don't live in Quebec, but it is just as much mine as it is Marois'. All of Canada is for all Canadians, even if these sovereignists swine don't think of themselves as Canadians. Actually, I doubt Marois and her fellow PQuistes could meet the standards of what it means to be Canadian.
